July 5, 2008 - Just got back from a vacation in Europe with Maya.  Had a great time, but I am glad to
be back working on the RV. In three weeks time I saw one light plane in Italy, and two Cessnas in
Croatia. Not one RV.  Be thankful for GA in America.

Finally located an affordable ADF antenna, and will be installing it this week. The Tru-Trak ADI
autopilot also arrived last week, so now I have everything I need to finish the panel. The radio install
has been much more time-consuming than I had imagined.  Avionics is a detailed specialty, and I
encourage those who can afford it to hire it out to professionals. I have learned alot, and could do it
much quicker the second time, but it has been slow going.

May 20, 2008 - Installed three comm antennas and a transponder antenna.

April 15, 2008 - After much investigation, I have decided not to install an electric MT propeller.
While it is a good piece of equipment, I have decided to forego the expense, reliability and
repair issues of a composite adjustable pitch propeller.  I think my mission profile will be better
served by the simplicity and reliability of a fixed pitch Sensenich. Because of this change, I now
have more room on my panel for 4 additional circuit breakers.  Pictured below are the new breakers
and the panel filler that I installed.  With 5 radios and the altitude encode I really need more
breakers than I originally planned for.
